Regulatory labelling specialist

The position is responsible for creating and reviewing all aspects of Canadian Food Labels including nutrition, ingredient declarations, allergens and claims etch… The applicant will manage several projects simultaneously, organization is an absolute must. Details are extremely important; the applicant must absolutely have a great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Compile NFT with ESHA software
  • Curate customer relationships
  • Accurately prepare copy sheets, including ingredients, allergens, cooking instructions, warnings and much more with proper Canadian terminology and layouts.
  • Supply printing guidance for designers
  • Ensure projects are running on time, follow up with translator, designer, printer etc.…
  • Answer client’s clients’ inquiries
  • Engage with Government agencies on behalf of clients
  • Review artwork to ensure compliance

Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience using ESHA software and compiling NFT
  • 2 years working within the Safe Foods For Canadians regulations as it pertains to labeling
  • In depth knowledge of ingredient and allergen requirements and terminology for labels
  • Proven ability to make personal connections and engage with customers on a personal level.
  • Ability to research regulations and government documentation
  • Meticulous and detail oriented.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
